We want this referral to Dynamic Rehabilitation Services to be a positive experience with a successful outcome. Our goals will be established on your first visit and reassessed each visit thereafter. Your input will be essential to your outcome.

As a participant in Dynamic Rehabilitation Services' SPINAL DECOMPRESSION PROGRAM, you should expect to become an active participant in your program of spinal health and restoration. Your willingness and ability to take an active role in this program will impact on its overall success.

Your visits will include four groups of therapeutic activity:

  • PASSIVE: Heat – Cold – Hands-on care by the therapist

  • TRACTION: Approximately 30 minutes of mechanical, calibrated decompression.
  • ACTIVE: Exercises
  • EDUCATION: Learning how to best manage your condition

While the length of each treatment session may vary from time-to-time, you can normally expect each session to last sixty minutes in duration. During your program, you will be asked to do exercises on a daily basis. These exercises will not take a great deal of time and will be focused on flexibility and toning / strengthening the muscles that keep the spine strong. A strong spine will support better postures, which put less force on the vertebral - disc complex.

You will also be asked to increase your knowledge and awareness of good static and dynamic postures and to practice good postural techniques during your normal activities of daily living.
